Rules :

• Submission fee R50 per artwork
• Artwork must be an original
• Each artwork must have contestant Name, Surname, Age, School, Town, contact number, Contact Email, Theme and Media used on the back of the artwork.
• All Artwork must be mounted on Black card board
• All Artwork not bigger then A2 and not smaller then A3
• No Submissions will be accepted without fee payment
• You will receive an email upon payment where to deliver your artwork in Johannesburg East Rand area or Currier address.
• All currier fees will be at participants own cost.
• All collections of art must be done no later than 30 days after closing of competition.
• Judging will be done according to age categories (8-10years, 11-13 years, 14 -16 years, and open category all ages)
• All paintings and drawings must be covered by plastic to ensure no smudging.

*Competition Consent About Palette Art Competition: Our objective is to help South African artist to showcase artwork through various mediums.
Participation: Each entry will receive a digital certificate of participation with your own personal grading of the subject matter. Disqualification: Palette has the right to disqualify artwork that is rude, inappropriate, contains racist messages or is violently graphic. Palette will communicate privately with the contestant to clarify the judging decisions and reason for disqualification from the competition. Fee: Palette contest submission fees collected are non- refundable. It is the contestant’s duty to submit all entries on submission closing dates. Artist are encouraged to submit as many works as possible for each contest. Artist must adhere to the rules and regulations of each category. Artist short Bio and Statement: The Winners of each category will be asked to submit a short bio and statement that will form part of our winner publications on all media. This is your opportunity to tell us about yourself, including your artistic training, inspiration, medium choice, any techniques utilized, and anything else you would like others to know about you. All proceeds of this competition will be for fund raising for GKSA Brakpan

POPIA Consent: All contestants automatically consent to the use of Names, Surnames, and Age’s to be published alongside artwork on the digital gallery. All winners give consent on submission of work to publish names, surnames age and short bio statements on all publications in hard copy of in digital format. All Contestant consent by submission of work to be published on any social media platform or other digital platforms that is used by Palette Art Competition.
